The Storm Before the Calm

Puppet Master(PM): Oh Sing to me of the King Leech,
My freedom from whom is just out of reach
Pan(P): Oh play to me the song of hope and good riddance
And let me step up and take this chance
Red Rouge(RR): Oh give this restleness a direction
And mix up all fact and fiction
Lady Luck(LL): For the fairy-tale lands are mine,
And all the forsaken paths of your design
PM: I can take rain or shine on a bare back
Suspended animation is my plan of attack
P: When the world dances to my tunes, I quietly think
How much can change in a wink
RR: And so much that never changes at all,
I'll spread the word I'll have ball
LL: And I'll dream an insomaniac's lullaby
To a world that slinks quietly by
Old souls in young clothes speak often of the chances lost
And that is where we've found the most.

The Walking Song

Lady Luck (LL): Oh give me the courage to change what I cannot accept
Pan (P) : Including, first of all, my own defect-
Puppet Master (PM) : Give me intolerance to the wrongs,
Red Rouge (RR): Oh give me a scale for my songs-
LL: Oh grant me selective blindness,so that I can not see the walls
PM : Give me the strength to take a million falls
RR: So many great doings of the past
Could not have been, but for an iconoclast
P: Oh pray let me always be the odd one out
Give me enough causes that I can do something about
PM: Whether or not I amount to anything
Would in the end be my own doing
LL: Till the day I'm dying
Oh give me the persistance to keep trying!

The Broken Mirror part 2

Banshee (B): Words and words alone, can make my soul groan, swords will never hurt me.

(The shrillness of her voice shatters the Steel Witch's sword. She flees.)

Pan (P): Thanks, m'lady. I should've known a menace when I saw one.

B: Ah, the poor goat! There there.
P ( looking at the moving lump in Banshee's shirt) : Um, do you have a pet hamster or someting?
B: It's my mikezawotsky. I call him mik for short.
P: You have a rat named mikezawotsky?
B: He's not a rat. He's a mikezawotsky. They are damn rare, too. This one just took to me.
P: Oh...k. Can you make you voice a few notes lower? It's really shrill.
B: Ah, I forget. (Adjusts her pitch).Better?
P: Much. A song for the lady? (Gets a flute out of his bag).
B: For the starts, and the stars,
The breeze and for the holy wars
P: For a reason, a rhyme,
Just for a good ol' time
B: For guitar strings and broken roads,
For the mikezawotskies and the toads!
P: For the suspension of belief
For joy, pain, ecstasy and relief
B: One for the journey that never ends
One for all the hurts that time mends
Together : Oh a song for the constant evolution!
Oh a song for the faceless revolution!
